I bought a bar of Currahee last year at the Sunday in the Park Festival in Atlanta. I'd never tried Indigo products before, but I'm always looking for fragrant soaps to try. I especially liked the woodsy fragrance of this one. Didn't know I'd fall in love with it. The bar is long-lasting and so is the fragrance. Also, the soap is gentle on the skin. I'd not saved the wrapper nor recalled the company name, but somehow I found Indigo online. So, I ordered a couple bars plus some others that sounded good. I'm happy with all of them.
Named for the brave, this masculine soap is scented with a blend of Cedarwood, also known as the "Tree of Life" for its balancing and uplifting properties, revered in skin care for its effects on acne and eczema; uplifting Italian Blood Orange, and soothing Bulgarian Lavender. We add Moroccan Red Clay from the Atlas Mountains, rich in minerals, to stimulate and tone the skin, and to draw out toxins and impurities that tend to age the skin.
Ingredients: Olive Oil, Grapeseed Oil, Coconut Oil, Palm Kernel Oil, Safflower Oil, Sodium Hydroxide, Shea Butter, Cocoa Butter, Moroccan Red Clay, Essential oils of Cedarwood, Blood Orange, and Bulgarian Lavender.
I love this soap for my face. I like fragrant soaps but this plays it cool and subtle without much scent. I have oily skin and keep my face routine very simple. This soap does not make me break out but is not drying, either. This is the one soap my husband will use on his face, as well.
